I have heard many good reports of articles, postings etc. on WOW. I understand it is open to all turners but not listed publicly as a website. I would appreciate information and or assistance to join .
Thanks for your consideration. Clint Merrill

Clint,

I am not a member but I understand it's by invitation only. I'm sure other members here will know for sure and invite you if needed.

Clint, you should be receiving an email with directions on how to activate your membership - enjoy!

I would also be interested in a WoW invite if you could help out, John. Thanks!

Rich;)

I'm a member but have not been there for a while. Come to think of it, I've not been there since I got my new computer. Huh? The website didn't go in the transfer. Go figure that... probably don't have my name and password for it either. ugh.

For those who just got invitations to WoW, make sure you completely read the "House Rules" that is scrolling across the top of the screen and NEVER EVER hit the "Make the cover photo" button. There are assigned folks that chose the cover photo each day.

I'd be interested in an invite if someone wants to pass one on.

My one complaint about that site... the forum software (if you can call it that). Love the work, hate the viewer.

I couldn't agree more. The format is actually discouraging to use, but the content is absolutely solid. Unfortunately, I won't visit the site very often due to the software.

Membership in WoW is obtained by having an existing member request an invitation be sent to the email address of the prospective new member. For those folks wanting an invitation to join WoW, the best method is NOT to post in this thread, but to contact by email or PM an existing WoW member, provide your name, gender, and email address, and request an invitation.

Posting in this thread doesn't accomplish much.

And provide gender why?

Mike,

I would think the proper place to ask that question is the WOW forum.

Maybe 2 different people have the same first name and different genders? Take the name Jan for example ......

The gender thing is a required field when you're trying to add a new member to WoW. I'm sure people could guess at it, but what's the point in not asking for convenience sake.

Rich is correct, but let's not debate that issue here as it is not a proper topic. Thanks.
