I am in the market for a micro-motor carver. I already have the Foredom, and it just doesn't put out high enough RPM for what I need. I have been looking at the RAM brand from Treeline, but CSUSA sells the Optima 2 for about $70 more. Both are pretty comparable to one another, just wondering if anyone had any reviews?

Thanks,
Dale

Dale,
I have the RAM unit. It does everything I need. If you make occasional use of it I can't see spending more. If you want to us it daily or carve for a living, spending an additional $70 won't help. You will need to spent a thousand to go top of the line.
