What? You didn't know that Batman was an avid woodworker. This one has a 7 1/4'' sole with a 1 7/8'' A2 blade. It's made from red (high copper content) brass, mild and stainless steel, 360 brass, and beryllium copper. The woods are wenge and Madagascar mahogany. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8545/8667401975_653900cda3.jpg (http://www.flickr.com/photos/78570616@N08/8667401975/)

Simply beautiful!

I love the tote design. The way you used three pieces and kept the wood grain in each piece in it's strongest position is ground breaking for me. I like the brass pinned top, great accent.

It weights how much? The copper must make it a bit liter than if just plan brass or bronze.

Thanks for posting....this is plane porn for sure !

So many things to appreciate here. I'll just call out the way the chamfers grow wider as they reach down... appearing the grab at the workpiece. Art that works. Bravo.
