C & C welcome. I started out planning on adding indents on the top and bottom of the stem and then decided I liked the smooth look.

This is sanded to 600 and coated with Maloof Oil Wax.

That's good to hear, Charlie. I am trying styles for two cups / goblets / chalices for a couple getting married and your comment points me towards the short cup long stem type.

Very pretty. Looks like something that would be hard to put back down once picked up. I'd just keep touching and holding it.

Obstinate or not, sure is a pretty wood. Nice form too, not everything needs embellishments.

Really clean modern shape---sorta mediterean--love it.

It looks great Brian! I think the simple form works well with that wood and grain. I think either style of cup/goblet will be well received.
