I got an old Delta DP220 drill press for free. (more on that later:)) This drill press was set up for mortising, so it needs a chuck and the yoke collar that holds the depth rod. The collar on it has the holder for the mortise chisel. I could cut the yoke off. It has the original motor which works. There are a bunch of other problems like no pointer, no depth stop collar, and numerous divots in the table. The bearings are all in great shape with no runout and the quill travel is super smooth. Is it worth fixing? My question is I already have a cheap Delta 12" bench top machine which has the same swing, quill travel and RPM. Should I sell the old drill press and let someone else deal with the problems or sell the new one to pay for the parts the old one needs? If so where can I find parts? What would you do?

I would sell the newer Delta and fix up the 220. I have 2 220s. If you go the other way, you could sell me that retirement lamp. ;)
