Just watched this video, got the link from a friend of mine. Looks like a really cool product. http://www.youtube.com/embed/IPM8OR6W6WE?feature

Very interesting. I wonder how it is on wood surfaces and whether it would be food safe for bowls.

Reminds me of silicone bake sheets, like silpat.

I went and looked at the top coat MSDS and it looks like it's a couple percent silica and a lot of acetone, and it doesn't come cheap (looks like about $100 a quart) !!

That's a convincing video, for sure. If my wife saw that, she'd want to coat all of our shoes and gloves.

MSDS for the base coat says that it's 10% or something polymer.

That's pretty amazing. I wonder how durable it is.

That's pretty amazing. I wonder how durable it is.

If it has good UV and abrasion resistance, it would be very impressive as a painted coating.

They should paint the inside of ketchup bottles with that stuff.

And yes, it is in fact ALL about BBQ and beer, if you must know.

That stuff is incredible. I'm thinking about having myself coated.

You can't deny dogs the pure joy of pursuing the Ketchupene molecules that cling to the bottom of the bottles.
They were bred to clean all surfaces in the home and apply fur as a protective coating.

Anything product like this should be opposed by the Paternal Always Wet Syndicate as unfair restriction of trade.

It's a great idea, but I gather it can only be used after things have been assembled.

They need to spray the entire city of Los Angeles Californgrafittia with this stuff.

Very cool stuff...

... Hope it is "safe" for human contact.

Ease of application and durability to whatever surface you need to coat. Cost? Looks to have great potential.
