Bending Cypress

Have an outdoor piece that I had purchased some Cypress to make out of. I need to bend some Cypress to make some of the pieces of it.

I've been looking, and can't find Cypress in any listing of woods suitable for steam bending. Is it usable for this?

How thick are the parts that you intend to bend? Figure content, grain orientation are big factors. Can't imagine cypress would not bend.

1" thick. Also have some 3/4" thick cherry for another piece of indoor furniture I need to bend.
