Carving machine with driftwood

I have been researching online for a carving machine that will work with driftwood. I have not found any that mention using unusual shapes to carve with so I need some assistance. Has or is anyone using a carving machine to work with material of this nature? Your recommendation would be greatly appreciated.

Only one I can think of would be sandblasting through a foam resist. But I have no idea of how rough or twisted you stock is. Are you talking about limb and tree sections, or weathered boards?
