Need replacement filter suggestions please

I will be visiting the California in July on holiday

I wish to explore purchasing a replacement filter for my UK dust extractor

the internal diameter is 6.5 inches the height is not critical but current filter is 7 inches high

further in the UK the filter is covered with a paper bag

Best replacement filter would be the washable gore tex by Cleanstream
(E.g. http://www.cleanstream.com/products/landing_shopvac_genie.html). Of course they don't list dimensions.

I'll measure what I have when I get out to the shop and post later

back from the shop-- all of my vacuums are Fein, with Cleanstream shopvac filters. Unfortunately, their INside Diameter is only 4.5 inches.
I did come across a website Filtersfast.com which gives outside diameters of filters. You might be able to get them to check the inside diameter on likely replacements like the shopvac 903-04-00 which has an 8 inch outside diameter.
Good luck on finding a replacement. Posting the brand name and model of your extractor might help someone think of a replacement.
