Madrigal
Cynthia and I created this piece for the POP Invitational Exhibition, Harmony. Turned from Bradford Pear and embellished with pyro-engraving.
The largest is approximately 3” dia.
Thanks for taking the time to view and look forward to your comments.

First couple of times I looked at this I missed the "3 inches diameter" part. That is some fine small detail work!

I don't like them. The forms are all irregular and misshapen. The pyro is messy.

...just kidding. Those are ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS, as usual.

I said this on another forum, but I'm going to say it here as well.

I saw these in St. Paul, and you really don't know how good they are until you see them in person !!! The pyro at that scale, and the proportions of the pieces is fabulous. Terrific work.

Michael, those are beautiful. I would like to know how you got the orange skin look. I think that is what sets off the pyro. Good job. I saw them yesterday, and didn't know what to write, but they look even better today..... ..... Jerry (in Tucson)

Hi Charlie,
No these pieces will not be in Utah. They are in St Paul displayed in the AAW's Gallery of Wood Art and will travel to Tampa for the symposium. But....we will have other work in Utah on display.
Looking forward to seeing you there!

No bleach Chip. This is the natural color of the wood.

Michael, I'm glad you didn't say you'd have to kill me if you gave tips on the hidden technique. Still looks good............ Jerry (in Tucson)
