If the through bolt is keyed, so that it can't twist it won't work loose by reaction forces.

The land for the cutter shaft is clever - why not make that fully housed?
On rare occasion, I use my hand router "sideways" with the cutter facing one of the handles.

Your router doesn't allow lateral mounting of the cutter, for those tighter confines.

As always, your design sense is strong.
You've never mentioned a bandsaw in your shop - how did you cut curves so tight?
