Anyone know where i can find this type of bolt? I bought a bunch of them years ago and can't figure out where. Searches have yielded nothing but regular straight connecting bolts.

'Shoulder bolt', or 'cap head shoulder bolt'?

We've always ordered them as furniture bolts or joint connector bolts. Only thing is they are often not shouldered like that under the head. The nut portion fits snugly in the hole but the bolt nearly a full thread right up under the head. Tacoma screw is a decent source for bulk.

I found some very similar at a bicycle shop and it was around the corner.

Rockler carries them as "connector bolts" to be used with "connector nuts". They are used to join cabinets together.

Our local orange borg has them also as 'connecting bolts' in the hardware aisle

The only issue will be if he needs the shouldered. The style bolt he posted has a shoulder under the the head. Depends on quantity, and Im sure there is a source out there, but I dont recall any of the places I've ordered from having the shouldered style. Your first link is more accurate to his reference image.

Yes, it's the shouldered version I'm looking for. They help quite a bit with realignment for projects that need to be mocked up then disassembled.
