View Full Version : Wide belt sander in South East Massachusetts

Hi,

Does any Creeker in Mass. know of a millworker/lumberyard/shop that has a wide belt sander for hire?

Preferably in SE MA or the greater Boston area. I'm putting together a few table tops for recent commissions and they are all in the 35-40" wide range (too big for my paner). Thanks in advance to anyone with a lead.

Matthew Dworman at Archangel Woodworks near Worcester runs a co-op.
If he can't accommodate you, or it's too far away I would ask the North Bennet Street school for a lead.

They've got a large machine woodworking shop and might be able to handle the job.
In either case, they can point you toward someone that may help.

If you can't find anyone closer I could run them through for you. About 20 min north of Boston so may be too far?
