Linear , hybrid ,or threaded mode

Can anyone please advise which one of the

Linear , hybrid ,or threaded mode settings

is best setting to use when viewing posts on Sawmill creek and the differences

Further are there any other tweaks I should make

I think the best is subjective depending on the person. I use the linear mode because that is what most of the forums out on the Internet use. I've never been on another forum that offered any other option besides Sawmill Creek.
