I was --><-- this close to asking what a decent small lawn tractor is these days.
Something around the $1500/$1800 range.

Then my wife came back from the dentist where she'd gone for a routine cleaning.

Good thing it was routine....otherwise it might have been worse than the $3500 estimate for the work she needs done.

:(

Dentistry is more expensive that watching a horror movie or a thriller, but it does have excitement and suspense. Plus, unlike being an audience member at a movie, you are the center of attention.

Does she need the work done or just want it? A second opinion may be a good idea.
I had a dentist I went to for years. He wanted to correct my bite. It was expensive. I went to another dentist to get his opinion and he said I didn't need bite correction.

Wonder where the dentist wants to go on vacation.

On the bright side, you won't have to find out that there's no such thing as a decent $1500 new tractor.

One of my hobbies is fixing lawn tractors, mostly John Deere and Cub Cadet. There are plenty of decent used lawn tractors that you can find for well under $1500.00 if you have some basic mechanical ability, however I would leave the dental work to the pros.:)

It's your wife's fault....buy a push mower and put her to work :)

He'll need dental work (and/or nose work) after suggesting that.

@Matt LMAO

Well Rich, look on the bright side: the aerobics will make you stronger and healthier :)

....or, you could tie a goat to a stake in the center of your lawn and it'll do the work for you (and cut down on your feed bill)
