So after nearly 7 weeks after being laid off from AT&T I am finally on a 'job'. I met a fellow woodworker on CL and today is our first day working together. We're working on this very nice home with a nice blend of rustic and modern decor. My buddy Jason built all I her kitchen cabinets from reclaimed lumber from a barn she bought. I didn't get to assist with them. Today we are taking some other reclaimed lumber and lining her bedrooms vaulted ceiling with it. Then we will do all the door casings, trim, and molding with it as well. Here's some pics...

The resawn 8x8's will be installed as headers and window casing. Oh how that resawn reclaimed lumber makes me REALLY want that Rikon 18" BS for $1049 at woodcraft!!! Would that saw be able to handle that task?

I must say... I really like this lady's style.

Nicely done.

Resawing barn lumber is an exercise in changing blades.
It's amazing how quickly a hidden nail dulls a blade.
