The really sad part is, most of these products are the sort I would like to purchase.............LOL..............Rod.

Wow...you guys are SICK!

I especially like the pencil sharpening feature!

Actually, it's really not a terrible idea. Completely impractical, of course, but pretty similar to a lot of fixturing I've done over the years.

That's the fun thing about Rob's April 1 ideas; they are almost practical until you realize the outrageous level of technical overkill. My favorite was the 12 post mortising gauge.

David: What Rob didn't mention was that, since I live in the LV HQ city, and I love LV tools, he added one of these for me onto your credit card, too. Tks much for your generosity.

ROFL! These really have to be incredibly fun to make.

If you added a micro adjust on each of the arms it would be much more usable because you could post adjust the clamping envelope.

I think this one is my favorite April 1 innovation so far.

In that case, does anyone else want one? I'm buying!

0.0769230769230769" per revolution?

What, you expected less accuracy from a Veritas tool???

Well...

1/2" rod with 13 TPI ...

Should we have carried more significant digits???? :)

Rob, one of your best tools ever. When does one get donated to the Free Stuff Drawings?

Can I buy the big pretzel?

Seriously, I think your inventions would make a great traveling display for woodworking shows, or maybe the Smithsonian.

PS: I want it. Put a glass top on it and you have a great coffee table conversation piece, to go with your basic Chevy motor end table.

I would have ordered, but I didn't see any pressure measuring device that would insure equal force for the vice arms.
Dang! I really wanted one for use squeezing lemons for my lemoncello receipe. :)

That's actually quite cool... if I had the space, I think I'd actually hand over my credit card digits.

I have GOT to get this system. This will be perfect for making the rings for my segmented turnings.:) Ahh you got me. I really could use this set up though, will you make me one if I order it?

This thing is great for holding a router while running the wood through freehand.

I called to see if they would sell them, they said no. So now my question is, how many would have to be ordered to twist your arms into making a short run of these? I really could step up my segmented turning leaps and bounds with one of these. :D
