These were turned from some ash that I picked up along a curb when visiting some relatives near Dallas a couple of weeks ago. They are 9 - 10 inches across, two finished with WOP and one with rattle can lacquer. Looks like I need a new background, this one is in bad shape.

Nice looking bowls, Dennis. The top one looks the best with the feet...... Jerry (in Tucson)

I have seen these--just about perfect in every way.

Very nice looking work. My vote for the top one as well.

All 3 look good, but the 3 leg foot bowl seems to sit better. The other 2 almost look like they are not sitting flat. My alley neighbor just cut down some Ash trunk and larger branches that had been left last year, and I will have to check. I would worry about the bark holding this time of year, but looks like you did a good job keeping the bark. Which one is the lacquer?

Dennis, all three of those are spectacular. I really have to say that the first one is my favorite, I like the proportions of your feet (and their design), as well as, the curve of the bowl. Excellent job on not losing the bark! Great job, I look forward to seeing more.
