Nuthin' fancy...but a functional home for 42 GS/Bessey/CabinetMaster type clamps. I didn't 'populate' with clamps for the pics.

2x12 screwed to the wall...plywood (or whatever) 3/4" x 9" wide glued and screwed onto the top of the 2x12. I cut a 'fat' 3/8" slot to stop 1-1/2" from the back of the top board using the dado and mitre gauge. I cut these slots 2" on center, which is almost perfect spacing for the clamp heads. Could be wider I guess. The brackets are 8x10 cheapies...less than a buck apiece. They seem to hold pretty well, and they fit perfectly between the slots. I didn't have the 2x12 laying around, so this was a $33, two hour solution.

Looks pretty good KC. Can you see the floor yet?

KC, are you sure you are not warehousing shelf brackets?

It does look like a very neat and organized use of the space.

When I need a clamp I know I can find them in the shop, or garage, or basement or utility shed - well usually.

 ;) Yep. It's like walking into somebody else's shop. :D SURELY I'll be done by the end of this week so I can post a 'revised' shop tour.

Boy, you sure have a lot more support for your clamp rack then I have for mine!

Ditto for what they both said! My clamp racks are looking pretty shabby. About half of the fingers have broken off on both of them. With your set up, there would be no worries about that!
