Years ago when I was learning, I used to watch the formica installers use a double roller that they called a pinch roller. It was two rubber rollers spaced about 5" apart on the same side of a handle. They used it to really apply pressure to the front edge right after applying the formica by putting one roller under the edge and one above and then pulling down on the handle and rolling along the length of the counter.

I can't find anything like this online. Anyone else remember this and better yet know where to get one?

Cool! Somebody should tell them to include 'pinch roller' as a tag so it shows up on google.

Thanks!

10 minutes. SMC shines again.

I always thought of pinch rollers as the motorized version for doing the full slabs, not sure if the smaller hand helds are called that as well?

Totally understand. That's just what I think they called them or maybe just what I came up with.

Seems like a reasonable name for that tool.
