For my birthday, I received a Country Living grain mill. Since it has a configuration to bolt to a table, im thinking of building a small table to mount it to. I'm thinking oak with Arm-R-Seal gel urethane to finish. In order to cover the screw holes, I'm wanting some side grain dowel rods to make plugs with but am having trouble locating some. I remember seeing some in a catalog but can't remember where. Anyone know anything about it?

Buy a man a plug, he plugs a hole. Buy*him*a plug cutter he plugs for life.

Here is one source for plug cutters:

But why do you even plan on exposed screws in a table?

This is my first table, so I'm not sure what all I need or am supposed to do. I figure it will be a good learning project.
