I am searching for a couple of gold colored plates to engrave names on and apply to belt buckles. Anyone out there have any idea where one might locate these??
Thanks

I heard another member suggest a website on another thread. I would try www.theringlord.com

Has just about any Scale, Ring, Or Flat piece of metal u can imagine. I have saved it in my favorites list. Cheap prices. And i can think of a few uses.

Photo of belt buckle you have in mind attaching a plate onto would be helpful.

I tried engraving specialties first. They can make them but I do not need a boatload of them. I am marking with a laser.
Thanks Kathy

Here is a draft of the size, I am thinking .20 for thickness. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I would like to engrave with a laser.
Thanks Kathy

Do you use Cermark, or are you vaporizing paint? CO2, YAG or Fiber laser?

Paint will scratch easily, Cermark is durable, but it needs to be uncoated to work.

The laser basically "Vaporizes" the paint so the metal shines through.
This is like the standard laserable metals we use.

Cermark can be tricky if the pieces are coated, so make sure that they uncoated for a good bond.
