My wife saw this table at a restaurant and would like me to convert our dinette table in the RV into something like this. She volunteered to provide the infill material. I am thinking to use a standard (non ROS) 6" sander with a 40 grit disk to gouge out the "pond" areas in the table, then shovel in the seashore material, then dump plastic table top stuff on top. Never having used the 2 part liquid (acrylic?) material before, where do you get it, how well will it soak into the sand, shells, starfish, etc, and how do you get it to flow around the table edges? Is there a lot of sanding and polishing involved after the stuff hardens. Help!

Hi,Ole I have used mirror coat epoxy for table tops,Rockler sells it.There are some YouTube videos that are helpful.A seal coat and temp are key for good results.Hope this helps. Andrew
