Spalted Hickory Dish

This was a standing dead tree in my woodlot that had no bark, I think it is hickory. My wife calls it a dog food dish because of the shape. It is 7 3/4" by 2 1/4" and finished with WOP.

Nice work Toby.......your wife's comment is spot on........the turning is nice and the shape does emulate a lot of dog food dishes I have seen........nice work on the flat bottom inside and the sharp inside corner.......

Thanks Roger. We don't have a dog so hopefully this will sell at the craft show on Saturday.
