I recently purchased the dewalt 618 w fixed and plunge bases. I am now looking at the edge guide accessory DW6913 as I'd like to try some simple inlays. Has anyone used this edge guide for that purpose. Is there a 1/2 inch collet option for the 618? Thanks

The DeWalt 618 routers come with both 1/4" and 1/2" collets. I was also able to purchase a 3/8" collet from their Service Center. You should be able to buy any of these collet sizes for the 618 from one of the DeWalt Service Centers or online at www.ereplacementparts.com or one of the other tool parts suppliers.

I have the DW6913 edge guide and, while it works OK for general use, I wouldn't consider it precision enough to do quality inlays. YMMV
