This is from a small Tulip Poplar tree that was cut after storm damage about 5 years ago. The walls are about 1/8" at the top tapering to 3/8" at the bottom. For much of the one side the bark is the wall. It is 4 1/2" tall by 4" wide, the opening is 1", finished with WOP. An odd shape but I kinda like it anyway. I've only done two hollow forms so far. (Sorry the shot of the bottom is out of focus)

The workmanship is great on this, I like what you did with the bark.

Really like this! Feels very rustic to me. Would look nice in a fireplace mantel.

Really nice looking piece. I agree it has a really nice rustic look.
