We are ready to start receiving shop Tours and woodworking articles at SawMill Creek. We ask that your shop tours and articles be in HTML format, please do not submit Microsoft Word documents. Please zip all of your HTML documents and pictures into one file and email them to webmaster@sawmillcreek.org
Our web server is a Unix based operating system so pay attention to case sensitivity on your text and file names (ie Bob.html is not the same as bob.html). We normally use all lowercase file names, this makes it easier to call the proper file in HTML documents, the same applies to pictures. All documents must be included in your zip file, if we publish your work on DVD Internet links will not work.
We will provide a link to the new page listing for the shop tours and woodworking articles as soon as we have a few submitted. Remember that if we can get our newsletter up and running in the future the best shop tours and woodworking articles will be published on DVD so use your spell checker and be creative with your web design.
Woodworkers bios should be entered in the Off Topic forum as a new thread.
