Someone sent me a link to a thread that was a turning contest a while ago and I found this .http://www.sawmillcreek.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=63863&d=1178227016 How was this made and did the person who did this cut those rings in half and then glue them?

They had to have cut and glued rings. There's no other way. That's a beautiful turning!!!

I don't know .You mentioned turning contest .Can we be sure it was turned? Simple "tramp art" sometimes featured chains carved from one piece of wood. I hope the answer is available.
