I'll be at a craft show next weekend so I though I would make some inexpensive items for the crowd. I've made about 30 all together. The branches that these are from have been dried for at least 3 years and should not split. Quick and easy to make. These are 4"-8" high, Honey Locust, Tulip Poplar, Walnut, Arborvitae, Holly.

These look good. Several of our club members make and sell them. They say they sell well in sets of three. You can make them without the spread base and drive a nail into the stem and cut it off for a spike to hold them in the ground for gardeners. BTW, splitting would be appropriate for mushrooms.

I like turning the cap and stem separate and offset turning the stem for more character.

Nice work. Mushrooms can be a lot of fun to turn at public demo's too.

Looks like a good use for branches. Something else to save!
