I need to route a bead on an arch.

I'd like to add a curved sub-base to my trim router to guide it along the edge.

If anyone has done this, please advise (pics if u have them).

Thank you in advance.

Prashun,

Your question reminded me of this guide: http://www.eagleamerica.com/product/400-1297/router_access_-_router_jigs

Thanks, Harry. But I need to make a bead on the face of an arched faceframe. This means the router needs to ride on the edge of the board. The square base needs to be replaced with a convex one that also incorporates an edge guide to prevent tipping.

I use one of these for what you're trying to do.
256961
Lie-Nielsen scratch stock

One of these will do the same thing for a whole lot less money.
256964
Some other scratch stock.

Google "KRT Woodworking - Disher". That one's for making dished out circles in wood.
If I get you correctly Prashun this may help. I would make something similar so the curve could be adjusted by bowing the sub-base.
