I've searched without much luck. Anyone know of a source for Jatoba plywood? Preferably not too far from Indiana. Thanks!

One of my local hardwood dealers sells jatoba plywood. They have three yards here in the San Francisco area. They also have a yard in Indiana. I have no idea why. http://www.macbeath.com/ Perhaps the Indiana one sells jatoba ply too.

If you're willing to drive the three hours to Blue Island, IL, you can get it at Owl Hardwood Lumber (http://www.owlhardwood.com/). Their Blue Island store is their smallest, so I would call first to make sure it's there if you decide to make the trek. I know they have it in stock in Des Plaines but that's about another 30 miles for you. 4'x8'x3/4" A1 veneer core is $128/sheet. 1/4" A4 is $86. If you go, stop by for a beer. We'll blow the froth off a few.
