A week or so ago, someone posted a link on a thread about a wood source in Katy, Texas. I went to the link and I want to contact the owner. He had a web site as well as a wood business. I have slept since I read the thread, and now I have looked and looked and can't figure out what thread it was or where the link to that site is. Does anyone recall what I'm talking about and can point me back to that link/site?

Thanks,
RP

Could it be this one? It was posted a couple of months ago, but mentions a place in Katy.

other major retailers/lumberyards in houston that have some turning blanks are Clarks Hardwoods and Houston Hardwoods. Though these really have blanks as a side product, not as a significant product line. Houston Hardwoods has slightly better prices and standard blanks. Clarks charges a premium, but have more burls/non-standard items. For general, domestic blanks though, neither are that spectacular.
