Bending Russian Olive?

Does anybody have any experience bending Russian Olive? I'm thinking of doing a project that would require doing a little bending (deforming the rim of a vessel). I have no experience with olive wood, so I have no idea how well it would take to a little bending. (My inclination is that it should work OK.) Any tips? I do have a plan B if bending isn't a good idea.

Ryan, I have turned a little of it, sure seems to me like it would bend ok if you find a piece with consistent grain. The pieces I had did not have that at all.

Thanks Steve. I haven't actually seen it yet, but someone has a log for me. I'll try to steer clear of the knots.
