This is one of 3 vases I made for my kids for Christmas. They were all started early in Dec. but life got in the way and they were not completed until late Feb. This is the last one to be delivered, to my eldest son this past weekend. Also the only one to have it's picture taken. Woods used were Alowood, maple and bloodwood. Finish is WTF. 10" tall by 4.5" wide. C&C welcome.

That's a fine job, Mike. I've done a few staved vessels and I know the challenges involved. I love the grain in the staves. Excellent!

A goood one. I tried to do a bit of stave work, did not get very far.

Not a design you see very often but I like it. I love the grain of the wood in the bottom part. Excellent job!
