Anyone know if the Delta 14" X5 bandsaw trunnion support is identical to that made by any other manufacturers?

Here's the Delta part number:
426-02-314-0008 TRUNNION SUPPORT ASSY

Saw model: 28-475X
Year: around 2005

Many imports (as that Delta is) use the same one.

Thanks Myk!

I found the Delta part in stock somewhere finally.

Ittura Design. If Louis doesn't have it, or make a better replacement part, then it's not available.

He's looking for one of the iron castings, not an "upgrade" part. As for Louis, he reminds me of "soup nazi", and he sure doesn't make it easy to buy his stuff. I tried for 3 years to get him to send me a catalog before I finally gave up. There is almost nothing that he sells that can't be had elsewhere.

Thanks all! I was a bit skeptical about trying a non-Delta part because this bandsaw has the special thumbscrew lower guides which I think mount to the trunnion support edge. I didn't want to mess with trying to drill and tap holes or any other machinery fiddling. I already do too much of that and not enough woodworking. :)

I found the trunnion support, trunnions, and clamp shoes online at Mike's Tools. I had been going back and forth with Delta "customer support" (using the term very loosely) trying to get just the trunnion support since November, and I finally squeezed it out of them that the part is not available and backordered. This seemed to be backordered as in they'll have to find someone to make the part. I bailed from that order! Mike at Mike's Tools responded quickly and efficiently and had me set with everything I needed within an hour, and sent them out that day! Very impressive!

Delta seems to have EVERYTHING back ordered since a Chinese concern took over.
