In about a month I will be getting my first laser engraver - an epilog mini 18 with rotary attachment. I'm very excited and am looking into my software options. I will be using my engraver in my business for a specific application. Probably 90% of my engravings will be the same logo on equipment that I manufacture. I will be doing some very simple logo design, etc...but my primary use is not the typical engraving set up. I will be using it as a tool for my business instead of the laser engraving being my primary business.
So my question - Corel seems to be the software of choice. I have looked into it and I can get x5 for much cheaper than the x6. With any software that I get I will be teaching myself and learning as I go. So is it worth the extra $$ to get the x6 or will I be just as well off with the x5?
Any help from corel/epilog users is greatly appreciate!
