Not meaning to high jack the thread but; I still have Oct 1968 issue I think ( possibly Sept) that my uncle got. It was the first issue he received when he took subscription to the magazine.

High jack away, it isn't meant to be to serious of a thread.

At a craft show I was set up at last year I met a man who used to work with a guy who was one of the people who invented the laser back in the late fifties. Apparently he used to brag about it to anyone who would listen that lasers were going to change the world, there impotence could not be overstated and in the future every home would have dozens of lasers.
