All I can say is Wow!
Does it retain it's color after it turned?
Sure hope you post a few pictures after you turn it.

Unfortunately, no. It will end up turning a shade of brown.

Beautiful. If only those colors could be captured in electron patterns so we could remember them.

There is more red than white. Time for some red dye to maintain some of that fabulous red

TransTint red works very well when properly diluted and painted over the original red. I recently stabilized and enhanced the red in the base of this vessel with TransTint to ensure that the color would not fade.

I also love working with box elder. Never understood why it's considered trash wood
