Well I posted some of these over on woodnet. So I thought I would see what the folks across the creek have to say. :)
A couple of sets of saws for a customer.http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/x395/ronb19571/IMG_0687_zpsf91b6a6f.jpg

I really like these ones Ron. Very beautiful and tasteful. They have your signature shaping, that I've really come like, but are not overdone. Honestly, the mother of pearl stuff you posted recently wasn't my thing, but these I LOVE! Some truly great looking saws.

Awesome work as always. Keep em' coming.

LOL. I just looked back at the pics and realized that these ones are MOP too. Well I still like em A LOT. Just personally though, if I ever buy a saw or saw parts from you I would like the option for brass nuts.

I like those handles and spines, Ron.

I see some quilting in the first pic. My fave.

Well Gary if you get bored sometime drive across that bridge and you can try a couple of them out. I made an extra 18", 14" and 12" while I was at it. No extra dove tails though. Hey Chris. As far as the MOP saw nuts are concerned they actually look better in person than in the pics. They really reflect the light so you loose the color. The brass are the standard and the MOP just an option anyway.:)

If you like a finely made saw, and want to support a fellow Creeker -
put some cash on the barrelhead with Ron.

My half back is the go to saw for most every task. It excells crosscutting and rips so clean I need very little prep before glue up.
It's a joy to work with something that is so well balanced.

You'll get my Bontz saw when you pry it from my cold, dead fingers.

Just out of curiosity, any idea what the approximate specs on the filing on your saw are?

Well, it depends on the saw really and the wood. I believe the last half back I filed was 10ppi, approx. 10* rake, 10* fleam, 10* slope. Nothing new really. I do use Marven Werner's line level method with my other visual aids when sharpening. Keeps every thing consistent.

For those of us not in the know, do you have a website or something where purchasing information can be found?

Those saws are stunning, and my guess is that they work as good as they look.
