If I were anywhere near Colorado I would check out the Felder KFS37 recently listed for small $ on ebay.

Same seller has a MiniMax FS 35 for sale as well. Someone on here needs to pull $4k together and buy both machines!

I would contact Mac at www.airtightclamps.com. He sold Felder for years and knows the good and bad of the old models. Dave

If i hadn't picked up a saw last week I'd have that Felder on a truck to Delaware on Monday. Even after shipping thats a great deal.

Not in MOST car garage bays lol - guessing him hardly used is never used - there anyway.

That is not your typical VFD/RPC solution.

I don't like high voltage but 4 hp motors would not be that hard to step up and convert. Would add 500-750 for the transformers if you have the rpc. I think you would need two to step up all three legs. Dave

Hey, that's almost in my back yard! What on earth do I need them for.... Is that Powermatic saw seriously work more than the Felder?!

Wonder if it would be possible to just swap out the motors to 220v? At the asking price, it may be worth the effort.

Edit: Just read that the sliding table is just under 8'. Starts looking like less of a deal after all...

We use motors to run our irrigation equipment on 480, three phase. They are also able to run the lower volt three phase, 208 I think? Different wiring in junction box. No idea if these are like that, but maybe...

Those motors are 440 only according to the seller. He converts to three phase and then steps up with transformers. Still not bad considering the shaper is included. Dave

Where did you see the just under 8' Joe?

The seller posted a question & response down towards the bottom of the listing. His response states that the slider is just under 8'.
