Been a while since I've been here... I was wondering if someone could possibly help with this?
Several years ago there was a thread about grain direction, at least I think it was about grain direction. It may have been about something else and turned into grain direction. Part way through the thread, someone posted a drawing (sketchup I think), that helped describe grain direction and perhaps tree growth (?) based on the growth rings at the end of the board. I've been looking repeatedly and can't find it. At the time I thought I should print it, but naturally I didn't.
Any ideas on the thread? Does anyone remember it?
