A while back I ask about WorkSharp 300 opinions and after reading what was said, I thought that if I was to make some parts why not make the whole thing

I like the ingenuity! What grit paper do you have on it? I would think with a decently aggressive paper would make that blade look like that in about 15 seconds, not minutes.
Are you making tool holding jigs as well?

you might want to make that top surface dead flat and level to the abrasive surface. That way you can sharpen from the top. It is a pretty common addition to the regular WorkSharp
