Wood Filler... Putty.... Goop: A couple of old timer quotes.

Here are a couple of old sayings about the use of wood filler, putty and all other goopious pastes other than ear wax used to fill up defects..... thought I would share these.

1). PUTTY IS MY BUDDY!

2). IN SKILL AND TOOLS WE PLACE OUR TRUST.... WHAT THEY CAN'T DO, WELL THEN, PUTTY MUST.

My tag line was a quote from a contractor during some market research we were doing. Another one I liked was from a developer -

"I want to be on the leading edge - not the bleeding edge."

Oh, and if you're ever in the UK and happen to have a nasal midwestern twang - make sure you enunciate "caulk" otherwise you'll get a lot of these :eek: :eek: and won't understand why. :D
