Hello All.

It really takes alot to impress me, being a semi old
curmudgeon. Lets take something as simple as a out
feed table. First thought in my head, I can build a beauty.
Then came woodpeckers email with their outfeed table debut.
This baby hooks right to the incra fence.
It detaches, folds up flat and hangs on the wall.
The legs have wheels.
The 18 inch wide table slides effortlessly along the incra track.
I could not duplicate this simple table, in a cost effective manner
or get the same well engineered results.
If you are considering the incra fence setup
take a look at the tables.
And no I do not get a discount for promoting this stuff.
I'm just impressed.

Per,

I got the same email from Woodpeckers. I was interested until I read it would only work with the Incra fence. Do you think this thing could be hooked to a B-meyer rear fence rail? It looks like from your picture that the outfeed table sits below your miter gauge slots versus at the same level as your saw table.

By the way, you have a very nice setup.

Very nice, Per. This is a similar idea to the Aigner support tables I'm thinking about for my J/P and BS. Very versatile!

Looks like you would need to mount a tee-track on the rear rail at the right height to use.

Per,

I don't suppose you could get a better picture of how it attaches to the Incra rail?

Thanks,
John

When I say this contraption slides effortlessly,
I was not embellishing.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Per. I didn't see the email (apparently, my anti-spam software was flagging emails from Woodpeck as... well, spam), but I'm glad I saw your post. I checked out the web site. I'd have to say that the regular prices is more that I would be willing to pay - at least in the situation I'm in. I'll have to keep an eye out for the special though.

Jim I don't know if you noticed but I have a couple of the aigner tables with two rails on my bandsaw and two on my shaper. They really work nicely and there are a bunch of other things you can hook to the rails. Also you can get an attachment to hook two tables end to end giving you a 7' long table. I use that on the outfeed of the bandsaw for resawing long stuff.

Hello Per,
How rugged is the Incra system you have? I have a 52" Beis and it takes lots of full MDF sheet knocks and stays accurate. I'm considering the Incra system that includes the router (http://tumpank.com/?go=router) table and fence as well and am wondering if I'd need to be more gentle with the Incra and the outfeed table. Thanks, John.

Hello Jim Becker,
I'm not familiar with the Ainger table systems. Sounds like they are for quick/easy attachment to multiple types of machines. Where could I find info ?? Thanks, John.

That is a neat way of attaching the outfeed table to the saw! I really need to build an outfeed table and may incorporate this idea...

Per, man you sure are getting yourself set up with one sweet saw package!

Its rugged all though all of our sheet stock
is now done with the Festool system.
The incra has the ability to lock both the
front and the back part of the fence to the rails.
We are talking solid.
Do not let the pretty gold finish fool you.
I know it had me fooled for years.
I was the galoot who guffawed at the idea of
1/1000 accuracy and pretty designer accessories.
I was known to belittle the foward thinking
individuals who purchased these tools before me.
I was wrong, and you can consider this a
public apology.

Thanks Per,
What Incra system has all the stuff needed for the TS fence and the router lift mechanism, or is there a better vendor for the router mech. other than Incra? What price range are we in? I'm very seriously considering the same TS and fence set-up and just wondering where I'm heading. Thanks, John.

I can't honestly answer that question.
I do not own a table mounted router system.
For what we do, a shaper is a must.
But the fellows at woodpeckers,
http://www.woodpeck.com/
I am sure would be able to answer your question,
as would the knowledgeable members of this forum.
Make no mistake, none of this is cheap.
But you sure get what you pay for.
I hit a certain age and realized that it was time
to stop cryin and start buyin.
