New turner from Michigan

Hi All, I started turning just before Christmas as was hooked. I bought a Ridgid WL1200 tube style lathe which is a copy of the Craftsman that was produced for many many years. I see the lathes you guys have and have a little tool envy but that generally goes away when my tool hits the wood. Glad to be here. Cheers, Dennis.

These are the first two pieces I turned. I called a guy who had done some turning for me 3 years ago and asked if he could turn these. When I got there, I asked if I could turn them with his help. He, Ray, is a mentor for AAW and was more than happy to get me hooked.
