View Full Version : Festool ETS125 working correctly

My ets125 ros appears to not be working properly. when I use any force at all on it the pad stops spinning. Compared to an older Bosch that I can really load up before it stops spinning. Is it me or the tool

Obviously this isn't right. I wonder if you have a vacuum attached and perhaps you are running the vac at full suction. Might be a good idea to turn that down a bit. Haven't used the ETS125 so I can't guess with any conviction so I refer you to the Festool Owners Group - FOG for a better chance to get more aswers and possible solutions - http://festoolownersgroup.com/index.php

Two options - post over on the Festool Owners Group or call the service number on the side of the sander. Festool will help you for sure. It may just be the pad brake as I had something similar on a new RO90 and Festool had me send it in under warranty and they fixed it no cost and very quickly.
