Or could someone direct me to a website that may carry such items? I've looked at a few leg websites to no avail. I googled "tear drop table leg", but that is apparently something body-builders strive for.

Kind of tough to determine the proper scale from the thumbnail photo.. How about vase turned colums.. Try tablelegs.com, just a happy customer

tablelegs.com has just about anything you could ask for. I think they do custom work too.

That's typically desribed as an urn pedastal.

Even though balusters come in many styles and shapes ,that particular shape is often referred to as 'baluster form',Palladian baluster, or 'Renaisance baluster' .

I went to the arc salvage joint today and found a good idea. I'm going to use old bird bath bottoms. I'll be able to work concrete into the design, and they look exactly like what I was needing. Here are pics that might interest.
