Mortiser, Mortise Mill II or Mortise Pal

An email offer about the new Mortise Mill and recent discussions about the Mortise Pal started me thinking. I currently have a benchtop Craftsman mortiser made by Orion. I wonder if it might make more sense to pick up one of the router based systems and reclaim the counter space from the benchtop. With a small shop any space savings is helpful.

I also wondered about the versatility of each of the systems. Anything the benchtop can do that I couldn't do with the Mortise Pal or Mill II? Or visa versa? For example, the router based systems could be used for loose tenon style as well as traditional style mortises where the benchtop would be traditional only. Do you find one more useful than another? Prefer both?

The benchtop can do both; you just cut mortises in both and insert a loose tenon.
