A 5 legged coffee table - verrry interesting :). I like the middle one in photo 1 best but of course that will be the most difficult one to attach stretchers to.

I agree, definitely the middle leg in picture 1.

Now if you did the left hand leg in the first picture as an offset turning rather that on a bandsaw - that would be my choice, otherwise i go with the middle leg.

The first leg of the slici1 done on the lathe is a special technique (do not know the name of the technique) and receives a square slightly rounded look to me ... this style a lot like...

For a coffee table, I'm with the others also, the middle one in the first pic. For that style of table, I think the others look too bulky and heavy.
