I had problem with Windows and I was reinstall it.
Now, when I engrave bitmap, laser engrave white area.
I checked in Photoshop this white and it is real white (#FFFFFF).
Does anyone know what is the problem?253734

I don't know the problem except that I've had it happen as well--usually with a printer. In Corel it is easy to remove the white background from the drawing. I imagine you have the same option in Photoshop.

Are you sure you're set to RGB and not CMYK?

Zlatko,

Are you printing from Photoshop or Corel?

Corel may be seeing that as CMYK white, which does engrave like your example. :(

If you use Corel, use the color eyedropper tool and hover over the color you want to check - it will tell you if it's CMYK or RGB white.

Sometimes the eyedropper can fool you if it is a "mottled" background. Go to levels under image adjustment
in PS and check the white end (toward the right) and see how the Histogram reads, if it shows anything on that
side move the slider a bit to the left, that will "clip" the white end a bit.

Yes, the problem was in CMYK.
